Case Study 1
The company had a great software system but it did not have an initial entry point for new sales, so the staff were entering data onto a spreadsheet in the traditional way of just adding numbers together every time a sale was initiated. Once the sale was confirmed it was entered into the system, but at the end of the month each sale had to be validated and audited. The system could export a report as a CSV file but it would take hours to run through the process.

We worked with the company and developed a simple data entry spreadsheet with some sophisticated features that could cross match the sales with the month end process, auditing now takes an hour and the spreadsheet provides interactive reports for the marketing department. Our solution is still being used today more than 3 years since it was designed

Case Study 2
The company used MYOB and had several entities which meant many MYOB files. To consolidate the entities at month end the accounts team would run trial balances and manually enter figures into a traditional spreadsheet. The process could take more than a day and if the figures had to be changed the process had to be repeated. We worked with the company and developed a spreadsheet that the trial balance could be pasted into and the file then produced a consolidated result all in less than a hour.
